Oh Moonpaw, what im I going to do. I have no mate, no kits, and no friends. Leaffur cried. I'll just be im my den. She just walks back to her den. She falls asleep and dreams of herself running with a mate and then tumbling down a hill. The sun just starts to peek through when leaffur wakes up. She walks over to the fresh kill pile and takes a starling and then sits down. I wonder she says as she eats it. Then she gets up and goes on a evening patrol. When they walked half of the border they where attacked. Help, Leaffur cried. She got wacked in the face by a tom. She yowled loudly. Then she got scratched in the shoulder. She wailed. They started to chase her down the slope. She twisted her ankle when she accidentlly fell into a small ditch. Nooooooo Leaffur cried. The fight went on for 30 minutes. Lionpaw went and told Flowerstar that some of the warriors where hurt. Lionpaw lead Flowerstar and Icefoot to leaffur and thistlepaw. Lets take them back to the den said Flowerstar. Flowerstar, lionpaw, and Icefoot pulled them out of the ditch. The two injured warriors made there way limping to the medicine den. They collasped on some moss beds. Icefoot grabed some cobwebs and put it on their wounds. She put some Comfrey on to soothe the wounds. And she chewed some Goldenrod and put that on their wounds. They woke up a day later. Runningclaw felt her move. He picked up his head and stared at Leaffur. Are you alright? he said. Yes she said. I wanted to make sure. Oh she said. She touches her nose to his nose. Thanks for telling me that she said. She walked out of the den and went to the fresh kill pile. She picked out a nice, fat, yummy squirrel. It tasted as if all the flavors of the forest sang out. That...was...AWESOME. Leaffur said. Wow that was the first time I evey had a big squirrel. Leaffur said.
