Lightningclan

Leader: Leafstar [M] - A tan muscular tabby tom with amber eyes.

Deputy: Flamepelt [F] - An orange she-cat with green eyes.

Medicine cat: Darkfrost [M] - A grey tabby tom with amber eyes.

Warriors -
Robinwing [M] - a brown tom with silver eyes.
Rainear [F] - a brown she-cat with green eyes.
Twistface [F] - A tortiseshell she-cat with white stripes on her face, and blue eyes.
Stonestream [M] - A gray tom with brown eyes.
Dapplenose [F] - A mottled gray she-cat with green eyes.


Apprentices -
Dawnpaw [F] - A long-haired she-cat with green eyes.
Lunarpaw [F] - A bluish-grey she-cat with silver eyes.
Minnowpaw [M] - A ginger tom with dark brown paws and eyes.
Ravenpaw [M] - A silver-black tom with plain brown eyes. 
Stormpaw [M] -  A white tom with black paws and tail tip. Eyes that change from butterscotch to black.

Queens -
Soaringwing [F] - (Mate of Robinwing) A white she-cat with blue eyes and black spots.

Kits -
Winterkit [F] - A pure white kit with blue eyes. Blind.
Blackkit [M] - A black kit with silver eyes.

~ Prologue ~

   A tan muscular tabby looked up to the sky to Silverpelt.
   "Starclan, why must peace be interrupted?" He whispered. No answer came. A grey tabby tom padded up to him and shifter his weight nervously.
   "Yes," The tan tabby looked to the newcomer, realizing he was there, "Has Starclan spoken to you?" The grey tabby's amber eyes flickered up to him.
   "Only Dawn will open a day of peace." He told the muscular cat.
   "Darkfrost..." The tabby looked at him, supressing a shiver.
   "I... I can't be sure, Leafstar." Darkfrost told his leader. Leafstar nodded. What could it be? He looked back up to Silverpelt. Darkfrot turned to leave, then stopped suddenly, muscles tensing.
   "What is it?" Leafstar asked the Medicine cat. He didn't flinch.
   "Dawnpaw..." He whispered the new apprentice's name.
   "Do you really think she'll be the one to stop the danger that lies ahead?" Leafstar looked back up to Silverpelt, "We don't even know what the danger is." Darkfrost's eyes shimmered with fear in the darkness.
   "A danger will come, unlike any other." He repeated the warning in his head.
   "No." He admitted, "But Starclan's never been wrong before."

~ Chapter 1 ~

   "Come on!" Dawnpaw giggled. She ran out of camp, exitement making her pelt bristle.
   "Slow down, sis!" Minnowpaw called after her.
   "You both need to slow down!" Robbinwing laughed.
   "Just because you're my mentor and uncle, dosn't mean you can tell me what to do!" She laughed, running faster.
   Dawnpaw loved the feeling of the wind on her face. It reminded her of when her dad would take her into the forest as a kit and they would run forever. Her mother died in a rogue attack, and her father just... Disapeared one day.
   "Yes you do!" Dawnpaw was snapped back into reality when Robinwing pounced on her.
   "I'm not a mouse!" She giggled as he hopped off.
   "No, but you listen as much." Her uncle smiled.
   "Yeah, Okay..." Dawnpaw flicked her tail. Robinwing and Twistface led them to the Sandstones to practice fighting for the first time. It was the perfect spot, because the sand that covered the stones was perfect for a soft fall. Dawnpaw yelped as her paw sunk into the sand.
   "It's okay, you get used to it..." Twistface mewed. Her voice held the hint of an accent in it. Dawnpaw quickly got the hang of it. She had to watch how much weight she put on her front paws.
   "Show me what you can do." Twistface told her Apprentice. Dawnpaw sat and watched with Robinwing.
   "Okay..." Minnowpaw hissed, bracing himself. He backed on his haunches and hopped on her back. He held fast to her pelt with sheathed claws, and she shook him off quickly. She pinned him to the ground before he realised what happened.
   "Very good, but be aware of my strength." Twistface brought Minnowpaw to the two.
   "Your turn." Robbinwing smiled at Dawnpaw. She raced exitedly.
   "Whenever you're ready!" He smiled. Dawnpaw felt the adrenaline rush through her. She scanned his body. He had long legs. That would work very much to her advantage. She rushed at him, careful about her weight on her front paws, and jumped up. He reared up on his back legs to stop her from hopping on his back, but at te last second, she landed on the ground and knocked him off his feet. He yowled in suprise, and Dawnpaw giggled. She hopped on top of him and looked him in the eyes.
   "You're clumbsy!" She commented, hopping off of him.
   "Wow! How did you do that?" Minnowpaw asked. Dawnpaw smiled as the mentors looked at her for an answer, too.
   "I looked at you, and saw you have long legs," She mewed, "I had to get you on your back two to knock you over." Twistface laughed nervously. Why was she nervous?
   "I'll bet Leafstar would want to see this..." Robbinwing smiled at his niece, "Let's go back and show him."
