Rainmist walked out of her den, streching out as the warm sun shone on her sleek raven black fur. A warm wind blew threw the air, whistling past the trees, ruffling her fur. Rainmist started to trot forward towards the fresh kill pile but stopped in her tracks as her friend Ravenshadow walked past her. His black gray fur shone bright in the sun and his amber eyes flickered fourisouly in the morning light.
"Morning Ravenshadow." Rainmist meowed shyly.
The slim black gray tom turned his head to face her, his amber eyes burning into her fur. Rainmist flicked the tip of her tail, staring at Ravenshadow, waiting for him to say something. Why isn't he saying something? Rainmist thought. Ravenshadow walked quickly over to Rainmist and nodded his head in greeting.
"Good morning Rainmist," He purred, "Out to get some fresh kill I see."
Rainmist dipped her head then walked right past him towards the pile. she picked out a mouse, ate it, then bolted up to her paws.
Rosestar, the leader, trotted out of her den and whispered something to Willowheart, the medicince cat. Rosestar looked at Rainmist, meowed softly, then disappeared back into her den. Moonfur, Rainmist's sister, bounced up beside her sister and purred happily.
"Hunting. You want to come?" Moonfur asked, wagging her tail.
Rainmist nodded her head and let out a happy meow. Moonfur looked at Ravenshadow, ready to ask the same question.
"Want to come?"
Ravenshadow, stood there quitely, staring at the beafutiful white she-cat.
"Fine."
"YIPPPPPEEEEEE!"
Moonfur ran off to ask some other warriors if they wanted to come to. Soon, she returned with Dawnsnow, Pinetail, Summerleaf, Scarletrain, and Redfeather.
